Weightlessness
This collection is an interpretation of the Buddhist idea, “Nirvana”. Starting from the idea of “burden”, the silhouettes took inspiration from everyday people whoc carry stuff that change their figure as a whole. The designs transferred these altered shapes into new silhouettes to present the idea of burden. The outer wear were constructed with defected cow skin whereas the dresses on the inside are designed with subtle style lines and constructed with coffee ground-dyed linen. The sleeves of the outerwear are unbuttonable, to highlight the action of taking burden off to find one’s true nature, one’s nirvana.
